Hello Tumblr, I am a new user here. Normally, I wouldn't believe in the paranormal, but this specific game was created by JosephTheSnail, a semi-popular creator on the internet. I hope he sees this post, as I know he has a Tumblr account under the name JosephTheSnailShow. If anyone finds this post, please send it to him. No, I didn’t make this post to get attention from him so I could get it added to the Spiral Nightmares wiki. Yes, I am familiar with that wiki, and I’ve read most of the stories there, like Sammy the Cat and Burnt Luigi, which were written by him.

This post is about a Five Nights at Freddy's fangame that I feel needs attention. I know my experience, as detailed here, might discourage you from playing it out of fear for your system or the safety of your loved ones and pets. If that's the case, just ensure you download games only from reputable sources like Gamejolt and Itch.io, and you won't experience the disturbing events I had to witness.

With that being said, I wrote this post inspired by a popular account by TobyBlogger, which encouraged me to share my own similar experience. Here is my story:

I stumbled upon Five Nights at Prototype Fredbear's through BeemanZ (before he privated his videos) and LoganZX. Mesmerized by its nostalgic charm, I downloaded the game.

As I launched the game, I noticed something mildly unsettling: the menu screen displayed an image of Prototype Fredbear with cracks on his body and pure white, glowing eyes. I didn’t find this particularly odd, as such imagery is common in the FNaF series to set the tone.

Playing the game, I quickly realized I was unfamiliar with the mechanics, having never played a FNaF fangame before. Unaware of the power management aspect, I eventually lost power and was jump-scared by Prototype Fredbear. What horrified me even more was what I saw next. Outside, next to my car, stood a yellow bear identical to Prototype Fredbear from the game, almost like a perfectly accurate cosplay.

The real horror began when I saw the figure run towards my house. I went inside and heard one of my cats scream. Grabbing my shotgun from near my desk, I ran to the living room, but it was too late. I saw the man in the cosplay run out of the house with my cat. I chased him, but when I tried to leave my property, I saw him holding my cat. As I tried to grab my cat from him, he stabbed me five times in the shoulder before letting go. Although I wanted to shoot him with my shotgun, he was gone before I had the chance. Losing hope, I returned home and considered calling the police to report the incident.

When I went to use the phone in my kitchen, I found it broken and clearly bitten. I went to my bedroom to use my phone, which thankfully had not been tampered with. Yes, I had locked both my front and back doors.

I dialed the police, and they picked up. However, after I told them what happened, they immediately hung up, dismissing my story. To be fair, I would probably hang up too if someone told me about a bear behaving like a human breaking into their house and doing creepy stuff.

Cats has gone missing

When I checked the game again, I noticed something I had missed before. There was an MFA file. Upon opening it, I saw normal code and basic stuff, but also a disturbing code that played randomly in the main frame with the office and everything. Aside from the odd appearances of Prototype Fredbear, Springbonnie, Lolbit, and Springfreddy in the camera images, I found the code contained a collection of gore videos and images depicting animal cruelty, abuse, murders, suicides, and sexual content.

As for my cat, the main menu frame showed a photo of my dead cat’s corpse.

Please heed my warning: avoid downloading games from unknown sources. Stick to trusted platforms like Gamejolt and Itch.io to avoid such horrifying experiences.
