The Plug N' Play.
Recently, I've been really interested in collecting and playing old fashioned Plug N' Play games, like Spiderman, Atari, and more, But a couple of days ago, a certain Plug N' Play forever traumatized me. Last week, I was going to my local Walmart when I spotted a very vibrant Plug N' Play. It was a Nicktoons Plug N' Play that looked very clean and new. The price of it was very cheap at 3.97 with a sticker on the bottom that said "06 DAVE", I had no clue what that meant. All I could think of was that the sticker had the name of the former owner.

By the time I got home, I hooked it up so I could test it. When I turned it on after hooking it up to the right input, there were black streaks moving slowly on the screen, it was the complete opposite of how I thought it was gonna be after seeing how clean It looked. The game sounded scratchy and distorted when I put it on the first game, "Channel Chasers". The first game was based off a FOP episode from season 4. The first couple of levels seemed innocent but yet slow and quiet, with the game's main theme being a little slower.
After playing a couple of "innocent levels", a tall and mysterious figure popped up on the screen, creating a black streak on the screen. After spotting that out, I moved on to the next game, "Delivery Service". it was the first SpongeBob game on the Plug N' Play with the other being "Kash Dash", which I'll talk about later.
Nothing special really happened in the first SpongeBob game, except I played it for a while. But after my second life was lost, I decided to move on to the next game, being "Downhill Skateboarding". It was based off some old Nickelodeon show from 1999 called "Rocket Power", which I knew nothing about. The game was very odd considering it had different graphics from the other 2 games I played so far. While playing, it would repeatedly flash brightly, which really hurt my eyes.

As I was playing, I wouldn't stop dying because of the bright flashing lights, which started to get more annoying each time. Because the flashes started to appear more and more, I started to get more used to it, which got me further in the minigame. but eventually the screen started getting red streaks, which started to distract me. The creepy thing was that there was the same figure from the first game, but this time, he was repeating every move I made in the minigame I was on. He wouldn't stop knocking me off the map, making me more and more pissed.
After playing that minigame, I got too annoyed so I moved on to the next game, "A Beautiful Mine", which was based off a Jimmy Neutron episode from season 1. The game seemed just like the first SpongeBob game, which was normal and not so creepy. I played a couple of levels before moving on to the last game. "Kash Dash", which was the second SpongeBob based game I mentioned earlier. I was hoping this game would make this Plug N' Play end on a good note, but actually, this happened to be the most disturbing game out of the rest. I set up the game and chose my character as Pirate Patrick, I started up the minigame, but it was already getting creepy just a few seconds after starting the game.

By the time it was my turn, I could hear loud scratching noises, along with the screen being really dark and distorted. Compared to the other minigames, this one gave me the most amount of terror, with the fact that the figure was back, taking Squidward's Place, and the fact that it was copying my every move once again. It was taking a while for me to get to my first treasure chest, but by the time I did, the figure literally slaughtered Patrick. it sliced him in both the throat and the wrist. I was terrified, Patrick had blood coming out of his mouth like a fountain. An army of goosebumps appeared everywhere on my body, from head to toe.
After being completely slaughtered by the figure, the screen turned gray and wavy with glitchy text that said "YOU'RE NEXT". After experiencing all of that, I did something I should've done from the start, I immediately took out the Plug from the outlet. I was terrified, literally right after experiencing all of that, I boxed up all of my Plug N' Plays and put them outside right next to the road, but what did I do with the Nicktoons Plug N' Play? I put the thing on the side of my house and completely destroyed it by showering it with my water faucet. I guess that "06 DAVE" guy was the figure in those three minigames. That Plug N' Play probably came straight out of an exorcist movie, except it was never exorcised.
